MSB, in collaboration with Coombs Group, has successfully completed a new three-story bakery building in Park Royal, London. The project involved the construction of an 80,000 sq.ft. facility featuring three composite concrete mezzanine floors, designed to accommodate production areas, office spaces, and retail outlets.
To achieve the client’s vision, MSB utilied advanced construction techniques, including the installation of composite concrete mezzanine floors to maximize space efficiency and load-bearing capacity. The building’s design incorporates state-of-the-art production facilities on the ground floor, optimied for high-volume baking operations. The upper floors house modern office spaces and retail areas, creating a multi-functional environment that supports both operational needs and customer engagement.
The project also included the integration of energy-efficient systems and materials to ensure long-term sustainability. High-performance insulation, energy-efficient glazing, and modern HVAC systems were installed to enhance thermal performance and reduce operational costs. Throughout the construction, MSB maintained strict adherence to safety standards and timelines, minimising disruption in the bustling Park Royal area.
