MSB recently completed a comprehensive roof over-cladding project for Building 13 at Vantage Point Business Village.
Our team at MSB successfully addressed persistent water ingress issues in this two-storey, 126,000 sq.ft. building by opting to overclad the existing roof rather than replace it. This decision was made due to the building’s occupancy by multiple tenants and the presence of Asbestolux roof panels and significant roof glazing elements.
The project included the installation of a layer of insulation below the new Goose-Wing Grey plastisol-coated steel roof panels to improve thermal performance. MSB utilised sacrificial safety netting to reduce costs and minimize tenant disruption. Additionally, the work involved high-quality roof over-cladding, new welded gutters, internal downpipe seals, and associated flashings.
MSB was selected for this project due to our competitive pricing, in-house manufacturing capabilities for the over-cladding panels, and our effective and safe work methodology. Our experience in both new build and refurbishment projects enabled us to achieve cost savings and early project delivery.
